About RiNo Art District

RiNo Art District is a nonprofit arts organization dedicated to supporting artists, creative businesses, and community through arts and cultural programming.

Founded in 2005 as a grassroots effort led by artists, makers, and neighbors, the organization believes in the power of art to bring people together and shape a thriving creative community.

Today, RiNo Art District serves as a Certified Colorado Creative District through Colorado Creative Industries and a Registered Neighborhood Organization (RNO) with the City and County of Denver, helping ensure that the voices of artists, businesses, and residents remain central to the district’s future.

Art is the common thread that connects the RiNo community and the lens through which we approach our work.

The district spans the historic neighborhoods of Globeville, Elyria-Swansea, Five Points, and Cole.

Over the past decade, the creative community helped catalyze the formation of both the RiNo Business Improvement District (BID) and the Denver RiNo General Improvement District (GID) to support infrastructure, maintenance, and district-wide improvements. All three entities are committed to the mission and vision of the RiNo Art District, and offer support through grant funding and partnership.

Through artist support, public art programs, cultural events, advocacy, and community partnerships, RiNo Art District continues to invest in the creative energy that defines this place and ensures that art remains central to the district’s future.
